Tips for Using the Libraries

When using a material at Kansai University Library, please search for the material you want by using the Kansai University Library searching system (KOALA).

As for materials kept in the stack room (Holdings place: 「B1書庫」 (B1 of general library), etc.), please request the material you want at the main counter on the first floor after filling out the "Application Card for Reading and Borrowing" by entering necessary matters such as the Call Number and Material ID. The material will be immediately brought out of the stack room. For materials kept in the open stack room (Holdings place: 「2F開架閲覧室」(2F of general library)), users are not required to fill out the "Application Card for Reading and Borrowing".

Users are not permitted to enter the stack room, in principle. To use materials kept in the stack room, users are required to fill out the "Application Card for Reading and Borrowing". However, third- and fourth-year students can enter the stack room under guidance. The stack room are always available for faculty members and graduate students.
