The use of database & electronic journals through VPN connection from outside Kansai University

Database and electronic journals with which libraries of Kansai University have signed up can be freely accessed from the network environment inside Kansai University in principle. However, some publishing companies allow access using the VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection provided by the IT Center in some cases.


For the possibility of a VPN connection, please check the details of each database in the following list or "Database Portal" at the Library website. If the form of the source of information is "www-利用契約サイト"(Websites under contract of using www) and the search location is "学内のみ"(only at Kansai University), the only pages that can be accessed from outside Kansai University are pages with their special access spaces being "VPN可"(VPN available).


If a user violates the service contract, the whole of Kansai University may be suspended from using the relevant service, or may be the target of legal action. Be sure to use the services in a proper way.


* The VPN should be connected to your PC by yourself.
