◎ Matters to be noted when using the database & electronic journals, etc.

The following acts are prohibited.

  • To download a large amount of data at one time or in a consecutive fashion by using automatic downloading software.
  • To use the database & electronic journals for a purpose other than private use.
  • To violate copyrights by reproducing and/or redistributing data

* These acts are prohibited in almost all our services. In addition, there are contractual documents in terms of legal matters, such as rules and terms & conditions established according to service providers. Before using these services, please also confirm details of the "Rules of Use" and "Terms & Conditions" as stipulated in websites of respective service providers.

◎ To read the service contract database from outside Kansai University

If the form of the source of information is "www-利用契約サイト"(Websites under contract of using www) and the search location is "学内のみ"(only at Kansai University), the only pages that can be accessed from outside Kansai University by using VPN connection provided by the IT Center are pages with their special access spaces being "VPN可"(VPN available). For details, please read this page.

* If a user violates the service contract, the whole of Kansai University may be suspended from using the relevant service, or may be the target of legal action. Be sure to use the services in a proper way.
